Yamapi falls (~~”)

Yesterday I read up on Yamashita san’s fall from the stage.  I was so worried for him after reading this mishap. I pray that he gets a much needed vacation after his solo cons. He definatly works too hard at times and never complains.  Yamashita san I will complain for you. Please give him a break Johnny. He really deserves it.

Yamashita san had a mishap during the second show in Fukuoka on the 10th. While singing the song “Tomo”,he had to change out of his rope into a leather jacket, but as the stage was very dimly-lit, he must have missed a step and fell off the stage. There was a small bruise on his left cheek after he got back on the stage. He carried on performing as usual, with smile on his face! What a professional super star, I believe he can handle this little injury ’cause he is a strong guy! Not to worry, just wish him speedy recovery and hope that he rests well.

Everyone looks so tired and sad.

Johnny’s Entertainment to do a charity CD

Management agency Johnny’s Entertainment announced on Saturday that it is planning to take additional actions in response to the March 11 earthquake and tsunami in the Tohoku region. The company’s plans include drastically reducing power consumption for its concerts, the release of a charity CD, and charity events.

Due to the effects of the earthquake, Johnny’s Entertainment canceled all 18 of its remaining concerts for March. A few days ago, the company announced that it would use the transport trucks and power generator trucks that it had contracted for the concerts to send supplies and electricity to the disaster areas instead. The first of those have already arrived at their destination. In addition, Johnny’s Entertainment donated 2,000 liters of gasoline that were stored for use in concerts.

Tackey & Tsubasa’s Takizawa Hideaki (28) and Imai Tsubasa (29) andNYC’s Nakayama Yuma (17) accompanied the trucks to the disaster areas to see the situation firsthand.

So far, the company has sent relief supplies and posted messages of support on its website, but a manager stated that it wants to contribute in ways that only Johnny’s Entertainment can.

Starting in April, the company plans to greatly reduce power consumption for its concerts, since eastern Japan has been facing a shortage of power due to the failure of the important nuclear plants at Fukushima. As long as future concerts don’t get canceled, the company aims to reduce usage to only 10%, from an average of 3,000 kilowatts per concert to only 300 kilowatts.

It is not clear when that plan will go into effect. The company has already decided to postpone its early April concerts – Yamashita Tomohisa in Osaka on April 1-3 and Tackey & Tsubasa in Yokohama on April 2-3.

Besides its energy conservation measures, Johnny’s Entertainment is seriously considering releasing a charity CD and holding charity events. Details are not yet known, but it appears that the charity CD may be an expansion of the J-FRIENDS unit (TOKIOV6KinKi Kids) that was created in 1997 in response to the Great Hanshin earthquake of 1995. Some reports say that the new project may include all of the talents under Johnny’s Entertainment.

Namie’s new song with Yamashita. Simply love it!!!

He Likes What He Likes (Yamapi & Foreign Girls)

NEWS member Yamashita Tomohisa (25) seems to be involved in quite a bit of dating rumors recently; we previously reported that he had gone on a date with a foreign woman, and now ‘FRIDAY’ has caught him on another date with a beautiful blonde French woman.

The two were spotted at a bar one night in Nishiazabu getting quite intimate, as the couple was seen whispering into each other’s ears as well as linking their arms together.

It’s unknown whether or not this is the same woman we reported on previously.

Now my spin on things} I have been reading quit a few post comments about Tomo’s dating preference, like who really cares right! Wrong,… some of the fans are truly harsh when they find out their beloved-ed idol is dating outside of Asian territories.

Examples ( It’s just a fling, she’s french) ( Oh no, not an American. Blonde bitches)

Personally,  this is truly sad, and doesn’t speak much for the loving fan.  As a fan, you should give your blessings for happiness, not down trout his choice in a partner.

And hey, yeah! this may just be a publicity stunt. But as  fans we have to support our Pi no matter what.

Yamashita kun make it the color of the rainbow baby, I’ll continue following you always.  Xoxoxox

Yamashita Tomohisa Mnet’s M Countdown

Japanese idol star Yamashita Tomohisa will be appearing on next week’s episode of Mnet’s M! Countdown!

Currently the leader of boy band NEWS, the idol is scheduled to release his first official solo album, “SUPERGOOD, SUPERBAD“, on March 2nd, followed by a two day Korean concert on April 16th and 17th at the KBS 88 Gymnasium. In promotion of his solo album, he’ll be making an appearance on the February 24th episode of M! Countdown.

Mnet Media, who currently handles his Korean licensing, as well as promotions, commented, “Many of the Japanese dramas he starred in have achieved considerable popularity in Korea.  We’ve already received countless questions on his Korean activities for the past two months.”

Yamashita Tomohisa previously made a visit in 2008 and was greeted by hundreds of fans that froze Gimpo Airport, demonstrating his popularity outside of Japan.

Jin Akanishi partner up with Jason Derulo

Japanese pop singer Jin Akanishi held a special press conference before his concert this Sunday to talk about his up coming plans in the USA. It was announced that he will collaborate with American singer Jason Derulo for his debut single.

The song will be a collaboration written by Derulo and will be featured on Akanishi’s full album, which is scheduled to be released this fall. The song is currently being worked on and Akanishi has indicated that it will be a pop tune.

In 2009 Derulo debuted with the hit song “Whatcha Say,” which was produced by J.R. Rotem. Other hit songs sung by Derulo include “Ridin’ Solo” and “In My Head” which were also produced by Rotem.

Aside from his US debut plans and new single, it was also announced that Akanishi will be releasing his DVD of his current tour titled, “Yellow Gold Tour 3011,” on May 4th

I am personally a big fan of Jason Derulo so I can not wait to see how this collaboration is going to go. Even if Brian Joo was just doing a cover of “In My Head” I still loved the live stage collaborations they both did when Jason was in Korean.  I think this might be a good opportunity for Jin. Maybe his US debut wont be a crash and burn after all.

(What the Hell is Johnny san doing!!)
